Cookie Notice
Last Updated:
This Cookie Notice explains how Bliss Events, operated by Bliss Events, LLC, uses cookies on blissevent.com ("the Site").
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly and provide information about how visitors interact with the site.
2. Cookies We Use
a) Strictly Necessary Cookies
Required for the Site to function. Cannot be disabled. Do not collect personal data.
We also use local browser storage to remember your analytics choice.
b) Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics only after you accept analytics. It uses cookies and processes usage data, including pages visited, time on site, general location, and browser and device information, to help us understand how visitors interact with the Site.
When analytics is enabled, we also count inquiries accepted by the website. This count does not include your name, email address, phone number, event details, message, or other form answers.
- Cookie names: _ga and _ga_<container-id>
- Purpose: Site traffic and accepted-inquiry analysis
- Duration: Google's default expiration is 2 years; browser limits and configured settings can shorten this.
Opt out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
c) Security Cookies: Google reCAPTCHA v3
We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect our contact forms from spam and bot abuse. reCAPTCHA operates in the background and collects device and behavioral data to assess whether a form submission is human. No CAPTCHA challenge is presented to the user.
- Purpose: Spam and bot protection
- Data collected: Browser/device fingerprint, behavioral signals
- Governed by: Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
d) Third-Party Service Cookies
This Site may load fonts, icons, or scripts from third-party providers (e.g., Google Fonts). These services may set their own cookies. Bliss Events does not control third-party cookie behavior.
3. Managing Cookies
Choose Accept or Decline in the cookie banner. You can change your analytics choice at any time through Cookie settings. Declining or withdrawing analytics consent stops new analytics measurements and does not prevent you from sending an inquiry. Measurements already initiated with your consent may finish sending to Google. If your browser signals Global Privacy Control (GPC), analytics stays off even if you previously accepted it.
You can also control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality, including form submission protection.
4. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice periodically. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
